Thank you for confirming your appointment with Chad D. Cummings, Esq., CPA. Your appointment has been fully confirmed. Should you need to reschedule or cancel, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the appointment start time using the link in the calendar invitation sent to you at the email address you provided. It is your responsibility to be available to speak at the appointment time you chose. Our attorney will attempt to call you twice at the designated start time, and if he is unable to reach you, or if you are in a public setting (i.e., non-private environment which will result in the loss of confidentiality and privacy), you will be charged a no-show fee as described below.
Any cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time or no-shows will be charged a substantial fee which is displayed in your confirmation email or calendar appointment and which you accepted at the time of booking this appointment. This firm-wide policy is strictly enforced, and there will be no exceptions.
Attorney Chad D. Cummings will call you at the telephone number you supplied at the appointment time you chose. Please note that out of respect for your time, he will begin and end all appointments on time; therefore, he asks that you please be prepared to speak and in an environment free from distraction. This is important to protect the confidentiality of the discussion.
Time is of the essence. Please be aware that there are statutes of limitations and strict deadlines which may affect your legal rights. If you do not retain this firm to handle your matter, you should immediately seek the services of another attorney without delay.
Any offer of representation is made only in the form of a signed representation agreement; unless and until a representation agreement is executed, this firm accepts no responsibility in your matter. Should you choose to retain this firm, the attorney will prepare and deliver to you for your approval a formal representation agreement. Please read this document carefully as it defines the terms of the working relationship.

Meet Chad
/Experienced Attorney and CPA

I am an attorney and Certified Public Accountant serving Florida and Texas.
Previously, I served in operations and finance with the world’s largest accounting firm (PricewaterhouseCoopers), airline (American Airlines), and bank (JPMorgan Chase & Co.). I have also created and advised a variety of start-up ventures.
I am a member of The Florida Bar and the State Bar of Texas, and I hold active CPA licensure in Florida and Texas and undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and taxation from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
My practice emphasizes, but is not limited to, the law as it intersects small businesses and their owners. I also assist clients with insurance claims, estate planning, and other legal matters on an ad hoc basis.
